Terms of Service

These are the rules for using Wapper.ai. By making an account or building an app, you agree to them. They are meant to be readable — if something here is unclear, ask us rather than guessing.
Wapper.ai is in early testing. It may break, lose work, change without notice, or stop being available. Do not use it for anything you cannot afford to lose.
What Wapper.ai does
You describe an app in plain words. We use an AI model to build it, host it at a web address, and let you change it by describing what you want different.
Your account
You need to be 18 or older. Give us a real email address — it is how we reach you and how you get back in if you forget your password. Keep your login to yourself; what happens under your account is your responsibility.
One person, one account. Do not create accounts to get around a limit.
What you may build
Build what you like, except:
- Anything pretending to be a real company, service or person — a fake bank login, a fake government form, a fake delivery notice.
- Anything designed to collect a password, card number, one-time code or other secret that belongs somewhere else. Your own app asking people to log in to your own app is fine; a page that harvests someone's bank password is not.
- Anything illegal where you are, or where the people using it are.
- Malware, or anything meant to attack, overload or break into something.
- Content that sexualises children, incites violence, or harasses a specific person.
We check descriptions automatically before building, and we refuse some. If we refuse something we think we should have built, tell us — the check is not perfect and we would like to know when it is wrong.
We may look at what you build if we are investigating abuse or a broken build, and we may remove an app or close an account that breaks these rules. If we do, we will tell you why.
Sharing your apps
An app you build gets a public web address. Anyone with the link can open it. Right now they can also read its code in their browser. Do not put anything private in an app.
You are responsible for what your app does to the people who use it, including anything it asks them for.
Who owns what
Yours
Your descriptions, and the apps built from them. You can use an app you built for anything you like, including commercially. We do not claim ownership of it, and we do not need a licence to it beyond what is required to host and show it to the people you share it with.
Ours
Wapper.ai itself — the platform, the website, the name and the way it works. Using Wapper.ai does not give you rights to any of that.
The code behind your app
We do not hand over the source code of the apps we build. You get a working app on a working link, and later the option of an installable app. You do not get a copy of the project to take elsewhere. If that matters to you, Wapper.ai is not the right tool.
What the AI produces
An AI model writes your app, and it can produce something similar for someone else who asks for something similar. We cannot promise an app is unique, and we cannot promise it does not resemble something that already exists.
Fair use
Building an app costs us real money each time. Use the service like a person, not like a script. We may set limits on how much you can build, and we may change those limits. Automated or bulk building is not allowed without asking us first.
Money
Wapper.ai is free while it is in testing. We expect to charge for it later. If we do, we will tell you before it affects you, and nothing you have already built will be taken away without notice.
What we do not promise
Wapper.ai is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available, that a build will succeed, that an app will be correct or bug-free, or that your work will not be lost. We are not liable for losses arising from using it — including lost data, lost business or anything an app you built did to someone. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us, which today is nothing.
None of this limits any right you have that cannot be limited by agreement.
Ending it
You can stop and ask us to delete your account whenever you want. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, or stop offering the service — and if we shut down, we will give as much notice as we reasonably can.
Changes to these terms
We will update this page when things change, and change the date at the top. If a change matters, we will tell you rather than relying on you noticing.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
